From the beginning
of Feb 2004 to the end of April 2004, Wireless Link
is providing a free trial Wireless Lan service for Telecom
Digital Subscribers in Hong Kong. The registration can
be done on the website of Telecom Digital.

with Excilan and Trustive
Wireless Link Limited,
trying to go further global, is launching a relationship
with Excilan and Trustive. Excilan runs the "Pay
by Mobile Phone" billing service that can be used
at many European and Asian hotspots. Users will enter
their cell phone number at the login page of a Wireless
Link's hotspot and can make sure all the charges for
wireless Internet access go on their cell phone bill.
Subscribers from Trustive - the Amsterdam-based virtual
WISP - can also log on to the Internet at Wireless Link's
hotspots with their free and easy-to-use client software
.

Link's WLAN Security Seminar
In Oct 2003, the 2nd
"War Driving" study on the Wireless Lan Security
Flaws in Hong Kong has been conducted to benchmark the
improvement for the WLAN Security in Hong Kong jointly
by Professional Information Security Association (PISA),
Hong Kong Wireless Technology Industry Association (WTIA)
and e-ZONE. On Dec 6, 2003 the study report was presented
in the seminar "Wireless LAN Security: Facts, Problems
and Solutions" at City University of Hong Kong.
Wireless Link was one of the speakers and sponsors presenting
the privacy and security issues at Wireless Hotspots.

its seminar on Oct 30, 2003 at Hong Kong World Trade
Centre. 5i Alliance Limited is a Hong Kong-based, non-profit
association that promotes Intelligent Buildings applications
and solutions. Wireless Link took the opportunity to
inform people on how to form "Entertainment Zones"
in areas in Hong Kong like Lan Kwai Fong, Soho and Knutsford
Terrace by deploying public Wireless HotSpots.

trade fair in Macao, which provides the business platform
for traders from China, the Asia Pacific, and other
parts of the world.

Launch of Public Hotspot
at Bangkok International Airport

The Bangkok International Airport is the most recent
Hotspot within Wireless Link's Asia Pacific network.
Ranked number 21 in the world in terms of passaenger
traffic (Airport Council International: October 23,
2002), this international hub now provides Public Wireless
LAN coverage in the public areas both at International
Terminal 1 and International Terminal 2.

WLAN Conference
On Thursday, February 27, 2003, Wireless
Link Limited held its Public WLAN Asia Pacific Conference
– Macau 2003 at the Macau Tower Convention and
Entertainment Centre. Mr. Vandy Poon, Chief Operating
Office of Companhia de Telecomunicações
de Macau (or CTM) was the Keynote Speaker.
The purpose of the conference was to inform people
on the wireless LAN deployment situation in the Asia
Pacific region and to highlight the potential of this
fast growing industry. Wireless Link and CTM also took
this opportunity to announce that the two companies
will be working together for the public wireless LAN
deployment in Macau with the Macau Tower Convention
and Entertainment Centre being the first “HotSpot”
of many.

Wireless Link and ISG Join
Forces in North America
In September 2002, Wireless Link Limited
and ISG Infotech Systems Group Inc. formally joined
forces in a strategic partnership to deploy Hot Spots
throughout North America. ISG, headquartered in Vancouver,
Canada, will be working to assist in extend the Wireless
Link Hot Spot Network in the West Coast of Canada and
the United States.

Partnership with CTM in Macau
Companhia de Telecomunicações
de Macau or better known as CTM entered into a strategic
partnership with Wireless Link in August 2002 to establish
Wireless Link Hot Spots throughout Macau. CTM is a world-class
communications company and Macau's only full telecom
solutions provider. CTM is a partnership between Cable
and Wireless PLC (51%) Portugal Telecom International
(28%) a Chinese investment company CITIC Pacific (20%)
and the Macau SAR Government (1%).

WLAN Conference
Wireless Link Limited held its 1st Global
WLAN Conference in Bangkok, Thailand on the 3rd and
4th of July 2002. Partners from around the world gathered
to discuss the future of WLAN and Wireless Internet
Access at public Hot Spots in the Asia Pacific Region.
Wireless Link also took the opportunity to announce
the deployment of 100 Hot Spots within the next 12 months.
